LESSON PLAN UNIT 13: WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

LESSON 1: 1, 2, 3 (PAGE 18)

Objectives: by the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:

- Asking and answering questions about what do you do in your free time

Teaching aids: book, projector, pictures, recording file, …

Procedure:

I Warm up : “Lucky Numbers”

1 Lucky number

2 Play with the knife/cut yourself

3 Play with the stove/get a burn

4 Lucky number

5 Ride too fast/fall off your bike

6 Run down the stairs/ break your arm

II New lesson :

1 Presentation:

a Pre-teach vocabulary:

- Free time : thời gian rảnh

- Surf the internet : lướt web

-T divides class into 2 groups -T explains the rules of the game

-Ss choose the number if it is lucky number Ss do not need to answer the question and get 10 marks

-If Ss choose a normal number

Ss will answer the question If they answer correctly, they will get 10 marks If they answer incorrectly, they won’t get mark

-If group has more mark, they will the winner

-T shows pictures

-T says “what are they doing?” -T lets Ss guess the answer -T corrects the answer with Ss -T reads models (3 times) -T asks Ss repeat (choral, individual)
