INTRODUCTION

1 The urgency of the thesis topic

Research to show the nature, position, and role of human in relation to the objective world, society and himself is always an issue mentioned in the entire history of philosophical thought However, scince Marxism was born, the human was fully studied as a creative subject and the development goal of history This

is the basic view of historical materialism

Since its founding, the Communist Party of China has always combined the basic principles of Marxism with China's actual conditions to create a theoretical system with the spirit of “Chineseization of Marxism”, and using this theoretical system for practical guidance Mao Zedong, the nucleus of the first generation of leaders who upheld the people's mastery position in the life of the Chinese nation; Deng Xiaoping, the nucleus of the second generation of leaders, stated "Three Benefits" (Three beneficial things are: It is beneficial for the development of socialist productive forces, beneficial for growth), with the main purpose of improving people's living standards; Jiang Zemin, the nucleus of the third generation of leaders, put forward the theory of “Three Representatives” whose key is to represent the fundamental interests of the masses of the people; Hu Jintao, the representative of the fourth generation of leaders gave a view of

“scientific outlook on development”, its core meaning is also “People Oriented” (taking people as the root), associated with the point of view “people is all-important” (taking people as the root); Xi Jinping, the nucleus of the fifth generation of leaders, raised the “People - centered” development ideology in the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era In order to study the issue of comprehensive human development, especially the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the most accuratly, completly and scientific way, the studying should be started by the theoretical basis

Over the past 40 years of reform and open-door, the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people to achieve rich results in realizing the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, including comprehensive human development, helping the Chinese people have experiences the fruits of reform and open-door Reform and open-door opened the way to socialism with Chinese characteristics, liberated and developed the social productive forces, the right to survival, the right to development and other basic human rights were well protected, people have unprecedented favorable conditions for comprehensive development Besides, China also faces limitations in human development in terms of economic, political, cultural, social and environmental modes Especially since entering the “New Era”, the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development has made limitations even more difficult, requiring the Chinese Party and Government to take synchronous measures to fix them effectively Therefore, the successful and unsuccessful lessons of China in comprehensive development will be meaningful experiences for Vietnam

The Communist Party of Vietnam always attaches great importance to the position and role of people in the development of the country, especially in the context of the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration, our Party has always placed the goal of comprehensive human development in Vietnam at the center of the goal of comprehensive reform of the country However, in Vietnam, there have not been in-depth and complete studies

on the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics This is a significant gap about this field in research Many problems in comprehensive human development that Vietnam is facing today are the same problems that China is facing, therefore, it is important

to study the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of national construction Socialism with Chinese characteristics has profound scientific and practical significance, helping the Communist Party of Vietnam to come up with guidelines, policies and solutions for comprehensive human development in

Vietnam to successfully implement the strategy developping high-quality human resources to serve the country's renovation, accelerate industrialization, modernization and international integration

With the main reasons mentioned above, it can be seen that it is very practical to study deeply the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics, therefore drawing the experiences of comprehensive human development in Vietnam in the current period

2 The purposes and research tasks of the thesis

- Analyze and clarify the current situation, especially achievements and limitations in comprehensive human development in China in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics; directions and solutions for comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the current period

- Drawing lessons from experiences on comprehensive human development

in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics and suggestions for Vietnam

3 Subject and scope of research

3.1 Research subjects

The research object of the thesis is the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics

and the suggestions for Vietnam

3.2 Research scope

The content: The thesis researches the theory and practice of

comprehensive human development in the fields of economy, politics, culture, society and environment

Since China conducted reform and open-door in the spirit of the 3rd Plenum

of the 11th Central Committee (December 1978) to present

4 Theoretical foundations and research methods of the thesis

4 1 Theoretical foundations

The theoretical basis of the thesis is Marxism - Leninism; undertakings, lines and policies of the Communist Party of China and the State of the People's Republic of China in different periods on human and comprehensive human development in China; perspective of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the issue of comprehensive human development

The thesis is also based on research results, accepted scientific views of previous researchers on the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics

4.2 Research Methods

- The thesis uses the methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism to study the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, in order to identify the characteristics and development steps on the basis of applying Marxist-Leninist doctrine on human beings and comprehensive human development through leadership periods

- The method of analysis and synthesis will be used in all chapters and sections of the thesis to discover and interpret the contents related to the thesis topic

- The information collection method: Collect and exploit information from available sources related to the thesis topic, including original documents such as documents of the Party; statistics, research works of Chinese scholars, research

works of international scholars related to the thesis topic

- The historical method is used to identify the characteristics and development steps in the process of the Chinese Communist Party's theoretical understanding of comprehensive human development, and at the same time place

it in relation to the progress of China's reform and open-door process

- Statistical methods are used in chapters 1 and 3 of the thesis to gather and evaluate the research situation related to the thesis topic and the situation of comprehensive human development in China since the reform and open-door policy

5 New contributions of the thesis

Firstly, the thesis contributes to clarifying the Marxist theory of human, comprehensive human development and the application, supplementation and development of that theory by the Chinese Communist Party in the process of building democracy socialism with Chinese characteristics

Second, the thesis contributes to clarifying the achievements and limitations of China's comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics

Third, the thesis clarifies China's experiences in comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics and the suggestions for Vietnam in the current period

The experiences drawn from the practice of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics clarified in this thesis will contribute to suggest Vietnam to solve the current problems in the current process of comprehensive human development

Second, the research of scholars on the issue of comprehensive human development mostly just stops at general judgments and assessments, lacks specific and vivid arguments and arguments So it is difficult to form comprehensive content on the issue of comprehensive human development in the process of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics

Third, previous works have not really clarified China's experience in comprehensive human development to suggest Vietnam in the process of solving arising problems related to comprehensive human development in the current

The philosophy of Marxism is an achievement that has reached its peak not only in the history of philosophical thought; but also a great achievement in the development of human intelligence As the core of Marx's philosophy, the view

of man, which includes the view of comprehensive human development, was formed along with the birth of Marx's philosophy In other words, the formation and development of the concept of man, including the view of comprehensive human development, has led to a revolution in Marxist philosophy In particular,

more than 40 years implementing the reform and open-door policy, building the socialism with Chinese characteristics, entering the 21st century, the Chinese people have had unprecedented favorable conditions for comprehensive development in all aspects: economic, political, cultural, social and environmental aspects China's achievements are as follows:

3.1.1 Achievements in comprehensive human development in terms of economy

The achievements of comprehensive human development in economic terms are mainly reflected in the following aspects: (1) Non-public ownership and public ownership coexist and develop together; (2) Taking distribution according
