I Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, students can be able to know more and practice food vocabulary
- Students focus on listening and reading skill
II Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: stall, pork, beef, spinach, cucumber, papaya, pineapple, durian, ripe
- Grammar: - So do I/too and Neither do I/either

- Pictures, cassette, text book, fruits and vegetables

V Procedures:
Warm – up:
(5 minutes) - There is a box consisting of some fruits and vegetables.Guessing things in the box:
- Teacher divides class into 2 groups A and B
- 1 student of each group will describe (just use actions to describe) fruits or vegetables they touch to other members
in group in order that they can guess what fruits or vegetables are
- There are 60 seconds for each group to describe
Answer:
- Banana, orange, apple, carrot, potato, tomato, onion, bean,
cabbage
- Students listen to rule of game
- 1 student comes close the box and describes
- Other members in group guess what they are

Introduction:
- Teacher introduces: “Today we will go to the market with
Hoa and her aunt to know what they buy in the market Let’s find out some new words that we will learn today”.
- Firstly, students listen new word, then teacher speaks that words 2 times Secondly, teacher asks some students to repeat new words Finally, teacher shows pictures of those words and writes that words into the board In addition, teacher requires some students guess the meaning of those words
- New words:
- Students answer teacher’ questions
- Students prepare notebook
to write down new words
- Students listen to the cassette, repeat after teacher, guess the meaning and write down those words

- We use “too” to describe the sympathy in affirmation
It is used at the bottom of the affirmative sentence
Ex: - He is a student.
- I am a student, too.
- Beside that we use “so” also describe the sympathy of
affirmation However, it is used at the top of the affirmative sentence
Ex: - She is a teacher
- So am I
2 “Either” and “Neither”:
- We use “either” to describe the sympathy in negation
It is used at the bottom of the negative sentence
Ex: - I’m not a student.
- She isn’t a student, either.
- Beside that we use “neither” also describe the sympathy
of negation However, it is used at the top of the negative sentence
Ex: - I’m not a student.
- Neither is she
- Students listen and guess so
as that teacher can check new words

- Students write the structure and the usage into notebook

- Teacher say: “Imagine you are going to go to the market or
supermarket with your friend You will buy meat, some vegetables and some fruits to celebrate the party What kind of meat, vegetable and fruit are you going to buy? Make a dialogue with your partner in order to describe what you want to buy.”
- There are 3 minutes for each pair to prepare the dialogue
After that 2 or 3 pairs will practice in front of the class and teacher correct to them
- Teacher may provide some other fruits or vegetables in case some students need
- Strawberry
- Water – melon
- Grapefruit
- Mango
- Coconut
- Pear, etc
- Students prepare dialogues and practice
HOMEWORK:
- Learn by heart new words and new structure.
- Prepare the new lesson page 115 and 118, part 2 and 4
