A The aims of the lesson

1 Knowledge

+ The aims: By the end of the lesson , ss will be able to read a dialogue to

recognise polite offers and requests with “ what would you like?” and “ I’d like some / a / an to Vinf”

* Language: How do you feel? I'm

What would you like?- I'd like

What would she like?- She'd like

Would you like noodles?- No, I wouldn't

- What's the matter? I'm hungry

- What do you want? I want

- What does she want? She wants

* Vocabulary: would like, some, juice, noodles, wouldn't, matter, want

2 Skills : - Practice listening, speaking, reading, writing.

3 Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to read a dialogue to

recognise polite offers and requests with “ what would you like?” and “ I’d like some / a / an to Vinf”

- Get ss to copy the words into their books and then ss copy, then close notebooks

ask them to close the books

- Rub out the new words one at a time Each time you

rub out a word in English, point to the vietnamese

translation and ask “what is this in English?” Ss follow instructions When all the English words are rubbed out, go

through the Vietnamese list and get ss to call out the

English words

- Ask Ss to read the dialogue and then fill in the gaps

1 Checking the prediction:

- Ask Ss to read the dialogue in A3 to check the ss read and correct prediction

- After finishing the dialogue ask a good pair to S1: I’d like some orange
