1 DEFINITION

• Trạng từ chỉ Tần suất (Adverbs of

frequency) là trạng từ dùng để diễn đạt mức độ thường xuyên của một

hành động.

2 POSITION

a Đứng sau Động từ Tobe

Example:

She is always modest about his achievements (Cô

ấy luôn khiêm tốn về thành quả của mình)

b Đứng trước Động từ thường

Example:

He usually holds on me back (Anh ấy thường

xuyên giữ tôi lại)

Trạng từ chỉ tần suất đứng sau Tobe hoặc đứng

trước V thường

3 USAGES

a Trạng từ diễn đạt mức độ thường xuyên của một hành động (always, rarely, sometimes, )

Example:

•“My mom always makes Waffle for me at

breakfast,” Felipa said – (“Mẹ tôi luôn làm bánh Waffle cho tôi vào bữa sáng” Felipa nói)

•She rarely left the office before finishing

everything (Cô ấy hiếm khi rời khỏi văn phòng

trước khi hoàn thành mọi thứ)

• b Trạng từ dùng để trả lời câu hỏi “How often?”

Example:

• He sometimes left before lunch (Anh ấy thỉnh thoảng

rời đi trước bữa trưa)

• We hardly see you at gym (Hầu như không khi nào tôi thấy bạn ở phòng tập)

How often + do/does + S + V + …? (S làm gì bao lâu 1 lần)

Ex: How often do you go to the cinema? Bao lâu bạn đi

xem phim 1 lần?

How often does she do yoga? Cô ấy tập yoga bao lâu 1

lần?

How often do they prepare dinner? Bao lâu họ chuẩn bị bữa tối 1 lần

How often is she late for school?: Bao lâu cô ấy đi học

muộn 1 lần

• Once: 1 lần

• Twice: 2 lần

• Three times: 3 lần

• Four times: 4 lần

She does yoga 3 times a week

They go to the cinema twice a month
