I OBJECTIVE: By the end of this lesson, Students will be able to ask and answer

about one's favourite sports and games

-Vocabulary: table tennis, prefer, farm town

-Sentence pattern: What 's your favourite sport ?

- Skills: Listening- reading-speaking.

II PREPARATION: -Teacher:Book, picture, extra board,radio

- Students : Books , notebooks, pens…

III PROCEDURE:

1 Warm up:

* Oral or written test: Play game " Jumbled

letters

2 Presentation:

- Get Ss to look at the picture and identify

the characters in each picture

set the context: you are going to hear Tom

and Quan talking about their favourite sport

and game

-Point to picture : Who is this ?What are they

talking about?

- Pre – teach

- Play the recording twice : once for Ss to

listen all the way thought and once for them

to repeat each line a few times

- Ss work in groups to practice then take turn

- Call on a few groups to perform the task in

front of the class

3 Practice:

-Have Ss look at Pictures, ask Ps read the

example and look at the picutres Set the

- You are going to hear some Ps talking about

their favourite sports and games You should

listen and tick the appropriate picture Point to

each picture and elicte P's answers to identify

the sports and games illustrated

Pre-teach newwords

-Ss listen and repeat sometimes

-Play the recording twice: Once for Ss listen all

the way through and once fo them do the task

Pause after each part for Ss to have sufficient

time to select and tick the box

- replay the recording for Ss to check the

answer.Then ask some Ss report their answers

to the class

correctly the sound of the letters ame as in game and ate in skate.
