Katy’s new clothes

Everyone else in Katy’s class was excited when they heard about the end of year school party, but Katy was worried Most of her clothes were really old and her family didn’t have a lot of money, so Katy didn’t want to ask her parents to find enough money to buy her a new dress

But Katy was clever First, she found a pencil and drew some ideas She wanted her clothes to look fun and unusual Then she fetched some old clothes that her parents never wore and took them into her room, found some scissors and began

to cut here and there, here and there…
