The teaching of foreign languages in general and English in particular in primary school education are many educators, many educational projects and numerous teachers of foreign language

In the industrialization and modernization of the country, our country is increasingly integrated into the international economy, the frequent contact with foreigners more and more English is the international language used widely around the world to help the peoples to understand each other better Because of that reason, English has been taught in schools across the country Thankfully, rather than primary school English teaching is included with many textbooks mass by the Ministry of education and training expertise has helped elementary students acquainted with the English language

Although English is the primary electives However, it has important properties beginning in the next school year in grade II So it holds a significant role in the learning process of the children It equips them vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns minimal, basic, simplest revolves around the theme very close, was their favorite and familiar, is the point of introducing all relatives, friends school topics, family topics, and other topics (the world around them) Therefore, to inspire and reinforce students’ knowledge is an extremely important work often Because this affects a lot more motivated students, a basic factor to impact the process of learning a language: No child will not learn motors - and the consolidation of knowledge also inculcate over the corpus of the lessons learned in

a systematic way, as a solid foundation to help them learn better, more confident in the learning process later

For the quality of their courses to achieve the best results it is not an easy thing So how do they form and develop learning skills most comprehensive? How

Foreign language teaching industry-second language is always more fluctuations and changes in rhythm general evolution of civilization and world culture The teaching of foreign languages in general and English in particular in primary school education are many educators, many educational projects and numerous teachers of foreign languages interested and give more integrated teaching methods The strengths and weaknesses of each statistical method to teach and help people can compare, comparison, adjusted to draw experience from which the wise decision to choose for themselves the teaching style with the needs and goals of the school in terms of teaching and practical circumstances For primary school students today,

English has become so popular and teachers also give students a new knowledge, methods of learning to know, the tricks, skills in learning, so they have a wealth of knowledge to use in any context as listening, speaking, reading and writing Moreover, the communication is a more accurate way Here the problem is that teachers must constantly innovate methods of teaching in the new situation today

First on their own perceptions, I boldly give a few thoughts on "Promoting positive

in forging speaking English for pupils at grade 3 through pairworks and groupworks” So the question for every teacher is really to innovate their approach

to meet the training needs now, to be aware of the value and practice all forms of teaching in a meaningful way, use visual aids the most effectively

1.2 Research purposes

In fact of teaching shows that there are many students passionate about learning English, they remember and pronounce very well They are actively talking in class because due to skills language and because of the efforts themselves However, English at primary school is electives subject, thus many pupils and many parents have not focused and invested in this course Many children prepare lesson is still sketchy

Addition, primary school pupils are children of small age, the level of awareness is low, the quality of learning is asynchronous English vocabulary has a different writing and reading so they do not avoid the unfamiliarity when talking or speaking

Since, many pupils have not good psychology They are not confident, not really flexible in the courses and they are not to forge a positive reading, speaking

in English, less involved speaking to learn the lesson

This is also bring many challenges for teachers as well as encourage pupils to participate attention to the lecture

On the basic of teaching methods combined with the observation: First of all,

we know what is teaching method? As a system of continuous impact of teachers to organize activities for students are aware of learners acquiring the components of the educational content in order to achieve its objectives

1.3 The object research:

Students in grade 3 at Vinh Tien Primary & Secondary School and students

of Vinh Loc district

1.4 Research Methods:

Language activities in the classes are conducted through speaking and writing form Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing must be focused so instructors need to create conditions for students to practice maximum with the necessary support of the theory, active participation in class activities, learning, language training to form new habits and skills can be used in a foreign language proficiency and initiative Addition to teaching English effectively in the process of

teaching in the classroom, teachers need to know and coordinate measures and effective optimization Need to grasp the knowledge, expertise, attention to each skill

Speaking is understood as a production skill and interaction skills This means reading is not only a process of creating sound, language and the individual question, but it is also a process of communication to exchange information between people and people Reading is different from listening, speaking and writing, When study reading, pupils can study alone; it requires 2 or more people when study speaking Therefore, when the teacher takes the class, they need to know how to organize classes to school can achieve the best results

In summary teachers are encouraged to organize training activities in the form of divide pairs and groups to speaking lesson become enjoyably and appealing for all students

2.THE CONTENT

2.1 Theoretical basis of the problem.

English is not new to primary pupils, the majority of primary schools have taken English courses in the program for pupils familiarize from grade 3 Most of them initially very excited about this new subject, they are like the children learn to speak - like to say Therefore the first step is to form a habit for pupils to communicate and to equip them vocabulary, grammar and simplest sentence which revolve around the theme of closeness and familiarity with them It is towards the objectives of the curriculum in English at the higher level and helps pupils to practice English skills

2.2 Status of teaching and learning English at Vinh Tien Primary & Secondary School.

Advantages:

Vinh Tien Primary & secondary School has been always regarded as "the pioneer" of Vinh Loc education, with traditional eager to learn, with the attention of the leaders of the school which strong expertise, enthusiasm and dynamism who are enabling teachers perform their assigned tasks Teachers are young people with full

of enthusiasm, qualification above standard and standard, facilities of the school is t full and proper criteria

Vinh Tien Primary & secondary School learn new model Therefore many students are communication, enhanced life skills, language development is relatively good They are always boldly, close to the teacher

Especially with the class 3A, 3B Chairman of autonomy is respected, dynamic, knows many things The self-management council committee was assigned the task very clear, specific The children in the class are always help each other in learning

Difficulties:

Besides the above advantages, there is still a lot of difficulties such as:

Vinh Tien is a rural school with a majority of pupils who are children of farmers, families are struggling

Some families, parents only care for the family economy but not really interested in children’s learning and urge them to learn They think that children are taught by teachers

Teachers are teaching many hours, time devoted to research to explore the teaching methods appropriate to each type of pupils is limited

Pupil aware independent learning is not high, not confident with their ability Therefore, they sometimes are passive in group activities

How to promote positive student learning to speak, inspire and develop effective self-study? This is the question always puzzled me To solve this problem, after a process of teaching, I have tried to explore and manipulate the various teaching methods and results show that the method divide into pairs and groups typically considered to be easy to implement methods and highly effective with

many advantages Thus I have concluded for myself "Promoting positive in forging speaking English for pupils at grade 3 through pairworks and groupworks” I introduced with colleagues and ask for comments

2.3 The measures have been used to solve the problem

The teachers who teach English always want to create a relaxed, lively and effective atmosphere for students For each of the subjects, both teachers and pupils have encountered many difficulties to overcome and transcend In teaching and speaking English, pupils need to pass the fear, embarrassment, anxiety To really involve in the communication process and the activities that teachers make in lessons The teachers play a very important role in helping students to have the confidence to express opinions, thoughts and feelings in English in the class with friends, teachers, and in the necessary unexpected situations occur in everyday life

In order to encourage pupils to actively participate in speaking English, teachers need to apply the new method to elicit fit in student for goal, need, interested in chat in foreign language By using the methods taught in pairs and groups, teachers can organize activities to communicate in English to give students a lesson in nature, serious and highly effective Through these activities the students became the subject of activity, directly and actively receiving the knowledge and opportunity to practice speaking skills as well as their pronunciation

*Activities through pairworks

To use pair activities reduces the pupils’ shame when they must to speak in the class Some activities bring good effect to encourage pupils become more active

in speaking lessons We have 5 activities in detail:

- The teacher needs to prepare:

+ Some card to deliver for pupils

+ Tools for fake the phone ring (teachers can conventions about signal for this sound)

-The teacher divided the class into two groups: As and Bs

-The teacher put two chairs back to back for two pupils A and B

-Teachers take two students A and B first volunteer to engage in activities after guiding them how to conduct and participate

-Teachers give A and B each pupils one card

-When the phone rang, A and B have to talk about the topic is written or drawn on the cards that they receive A and B do not know each other because the talks are taking place on the phone A caller, B is the answer, and vice versa

Form work in pairs or group can assist with all forms of working class or working with individuals These activities, in pairs or group two-dimensional nature, enhance the exchange of information through the student facilitates the communication activities in the classroom practice However, like other forms of work in other classes, pairworks and groupworks have advantages and disadvantages

Pros: Environment in the classroom is relaxed, more comfortable with activities

that require pupils to work together to perform

Pupils have many opportunities to speak English better

Pupils feel free, confident and more willing When speaking, it is not under pressure from teachers, such as fear of making mistakes, being the teacher prompts and repair

Promoting pupils actively promote their initiative to cultivate, develop speaking skills

Cons: Be easy to make noise that affect to other class.

Pupils can make mistakes when working together

Teachers are hard to control all activities of students in the same time

Not all students in the class are involved in teaching and learning activities are given Maybe some of you sit hiding behind you hard, whispered talk And sometimes they just a monologue in their group other passive silence

Freedom learning environment can make pupils are lazy and lacking in self-discipline distraction lesson Pupils may not work if not voluntarily or harder to handle such cases

The way to overcome the disadvantages:

Pairwork has many advantages, especially in the exercise of the function words, if overcome these drawbacks, the form will promote the advantages as mentioned above

In fact, when pupils work in pairs or group, teachers will have no control over the pupils’ speech and not necessarily control all Moreover, all activities mentioned above are causing the noise is inevitable because most students have to move, to speak and sometimes laugh and scream again But these are the "good noise"

However, when conducting work in pair or group, I do the following:

* Instructions exercise or task requirements set out a clear way

* Before to working in pairs or groups must be well prepared: samples or examples given sufficient data which is necessary for the exercise

* I mingle and listen and help to cover general and timely support when pupils need

* After pupils complete the exercise in pair or group I check comments, suggestions, fixes or provide the correct form in a timely manner to motivate and encourage them

* Need a reasonable pair or group, students can choose to have the same degree or other qualifications to work together, depending on the intent and on the nature of the exercise

* Regulation of time doing exercises in a specific way

The time to work in pair or group:

- Pairwork form appropriate conversation activities between two people together so that it is suitable with all kinds of exercises such as:

Practice sample sentence after the introduction of new corpus and after a few minutes of practice for the class

Practice exercises the language grammar
