Practice Masters
The materials for each Basic Unit include three
Practice Masters designed to provide three levels
of practice. These pages include meaning-based
activities as well as many motivating gamelike
activities that mix practice with fun.

unit spelling principle Practice A pages deal with
the first column of six Basic Words listed on the
Part A page. By dealing with half of the Basic
Word list, this page provides an easy practice for
students who may be having difficulty with the
word list or who have limited English proficiency.
