Bài viết khảo lược về sự tình phát ngôn nói chung và làm rõ một số đặc trưng của kiểu sự tình này. Đây là cơ sở bước đầu để có thể tiến hành những nghiên cứu đối chiếu về sự tình phát ngôn trong tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt.
