Bài viết nghiên cứu về một số loại hình phương tiện biểu đạt tình thái trong câu hỏi tiếng Anh. Bốn tiểu loại chính của nghĩa tình thái trong ngôn ngữ là: Tiền giả định, xác nhận hiện thực, xác nhận phi hiện thực, xác nhận phủ định.
