I Tenses

1 The simple present tense (Thì hiện tại đơn):

- Dùng để diễn tả:- Một thói quen, một chân lí hay một

sự thật hiển nhiên, Công việc thường xảy ra ở

hiện tại không bao giờ thay đổi.

- Form: (+) S + V-s/es + O

(-) S + Do/ Does + Vinf + O

(?) Do/ Does + S + Vinf + O ?

- Thường đi với các trạng từ chỉ sự thường xuyên -

Always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never, every, once, twice, three times hoặc chỉ nhu

cầu, sở thích, trạng thái

2.The present progressive tense (hiện tại tiếp diễn):

- Dùng để diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra tại thời điểm ta đang nói.

- Form: S + TOBE + V- ing + O.

( am, is, are)

- Thường đi với các Now, at this time, at the

moment, at present, right now, sau mệnh lệnh

hoặc hành động khác với thói quen thường ngày

có liên từ BUT
