Lesson 1: Part 1-2-3

I Objectives: By the end of this unit, Ss will be able to:

- know the vocabulary about toys: doll, teddy bear, car, robot, ball, puzzle, yo-yo, and

kite.

- can identify toys, using Do you have a ?-Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

- express their love for their toys

II Teaching aids: Laptop, speakers, pictures.

III Procedure:

A Warm-up:

- Let students dance the song Baby Shark

B New lesson:

Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat

Step 1: Set the scene:

- How many people are there in the pictures?

- Who are they?

- Where are they?

- What are they talking about?

Step 2: Share ideas

- Focus on the sentence pattern and lead in the new lesson.

Step 3: Listen and repeat

- T plays the recording; Ss listen and repeat once or twice

- Let Ss repeat in chorus or in pair if necessary

**Observation: pronunciation, vocabulary, intonation

Activity 2: Point and say

Step 1: Aims of this activity: Ask and answer about their room

Step 2: Focus on the structure, pre-teach vocabulary

Do you have ?- Yes, I do / No, I don’t.

Word-check: Find the missing words

Aims: Ss can use the new structure in a particular situation by play a game.

Step 1: Review the vocabulary

Step 2: Modeling: Call a student goes to the board and chooses a toy The whole class and ask: Do you have ?

** Oral comments: vocabulary, sentence pattern, pronunciation, confidence
