- use the words and phrases related to phone number and invitation using What's your

phone number? and Would you like to ……?

- read and understand the text about weekend activities and write about their own activities

Lesson 1: Part 1-2

I Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can:

- know the vocabulary about animals: tiger, kangaroo, crocodile, elephant, monkey

- ask and answer questions about someone’s desire, using What animal do you want

to see?  I want to see

- express their love and their excitement to the animals

II Teaching aids:

1 Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, computer

2 Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III Procedures:

A Warm-up:

- Prepare pupils for this unit by revising animals Have Ss play game Slap the

board

B New lesson:

Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat

Step1: Discover the picture:

- How many people are there in the picture?

- Who are they?

- What are they talking about?

Step 2: Listen and repeat

- T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice

- Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary

Step 3: Share ideas

- Focus on the structure What animal do you want to see?  I want to see , lead in

the new lesson

- Practice asking and answering questions about someone’s desire, using What

animal do you want to see?  I want to see

- Express their love and their excitement to the animals

II Teaching aids:

1 Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer

2 Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III Procedures:

A Warm up

- Get pupils to play Pass the ball game (ask and answer about animals)

B New lesson:

Activity 3: Listen and match

Step1: Giving instructions

Step 2: Listen and match

- T plays the recording twice for Ss listen to do the task

Step 3: Share answers

Step 4: Check the answer and give feedback

Step 1: Tell pupils that they are going to play the game Charade:

- Divide class into 2 groups

- Show a pupil in a group the name of a zoo animal That pupil must act out the animal for another group to guess The group who gets the most points at the end of the game is the winner

Step 5: Find the winner and review the vocabulary of animals
