I Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, students will able to:

- identify the subject, how to learn this subject

- practice recalling some school things

- show their concern about subject

II Teaching aids:

III Procedure:

1 Warm up

Greeting

2 Introduce the book

Introduce the subject: two books (one colored books and one workbook)

- One colored book use to learn at classroom ( two semesters)

- One workbook use to do exercises and review the knowledge

Introduce each unit to student understand:

- There are 10 units

- Each unit has 3 lessons

- Each lesson, we have 6 tasks and learn new words and new structures, how to read and write

- After learning each unit, we must do exercises in the workbook to review words and structures

Call some students introduce again about the subject

Listen and comments

3 Review school things

Review some school things: pen, pencil, pencil case, rubber, book, notebook, school bag …

Practice reading some words in individually a few times

Practice greeting in pairs:

- Teacher – student

- Student – student (open / close)

- Group – group

I Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to:

- Identify the words and phrases related to the topic Introduction.

- Greet others and introduce themselves, using Hello/ Hi I’m…

- Express their respect and friendliness to the others

II Teaching aids:

- Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, laptop, speakers.

- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III Procedures:

- Sing Good morning song

Activity 1 Look, listen and repeat

Discover the picture:

- How many people are there in the picture?

- Who are they?

- Where are they?

- ……….

Share ideas

Listen and repeat

- T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice.

** Observation and Oral comment (pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence patterns)

Activity 2 Point and say

Focus on the structure, pre-teach vocabulary

Word-check: Rub out and remember.

- look at the pictures and identify the characters in the pictures

+ can pronounce correctly

- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III Procedures

A Warm up

- Ask Ss introduce themselves

** Observation and oral comments (2Ss)

B New lesson

Activity 4 Listen and tick

- open the book, describe the pictures and identify the task

- listen and tick the correct pictures

- trade their answers for correction

- give the answers

Activity 5 Let’s write

- look at the sentences and guess the answers Check understanding

- do the task

- swap their answers before checking as a class

- call some pupils to read aloud the complete sentences and give feedback

- read each line of the song Hello (listen to the explanation of new words)

- listen to the song a few times and do choral and individual repetition line by line
