I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will able to:

- identify the new subject

- know how to greet and how to learn this subject

- express their concern about English

A.Warm-up:

- Teacher (T) and students (Ss) greet each other in Vietnamese and English

B New lesson:

Activity 1: Introduce subject

T introduces the subject: two books (one student book and one workbook)

- One student book use to learn at classroom ( two semesters)

- One workbook use to do exercises and review the knowledge

T introduces each unit to student understand:

- There are 20 units

- Each unit has 3 lessons and 7 activities

- After 5 unit will have a review

- Each lesson, we learn 7 activities:

Act 1: Look, point and repeat Act2: Point and say

Act 3: Chant Act 4: Listen and tick

Act 5: Let’s talk Act 6: Look and sing

Act 7: Sing

- We learn about sound, words and song

Call some student introduce again about the subject

Practice reading some names in individually a few times

Practice greeting in pairs:
