1 Lời giới thiệu

Tiếng Anh là một trong những môn học được học sinh đánh giá là khó nhất trongnhững môn học ở trường THPT Chương trình tiếng anh hệ 7 năm, học sinh cần học chắcphần ngữ pháp và từ vựng là chủ yếu Nhưng đến bây giờ - với chương trình mới hệ 10 năm

- theo hệ đổi mới, các em học sinh không chỉ nắm được các cấu trúc ngữ pháp mà còn pháttriển các kỹ năng nghe – nói – đọc – viết kết hợp với những kiến thức xã hội, văn hóa trongnước và các nước trên thế giới theo từng chủ đề bài học trong sách giáo khoa

Trong quá trình giảng dạy tôi nhận thấy học sinh lớp 10 nhiều em có lực học trungbình và yếu nên rất ngại học tiếng anh Bên cạnh đó, nội dung bài học theo chương trìnhsách tiếng Anh mới - hệ 10 năm – có nhiều dạng bài tập rất khó với các em Vậy làm thế nào

để các em có thể nắm được nội dung bài học và các em có hứng thú học với tiết học tiếngAnh?

Qua quá trình tham gia bồi dưỡng “Phương pháp đánh giá và phát triển tài liệu

dạy học” do Sở GD& ĐT tổ chức, tôi đã viết SKKN này để góp phần giúp các em học sinh

tiếp thu bài học một cách dễ dàng và nắm chắc từ vựng, cấu trúc tiếng Anh hơn nhằm nângcao chất lượng dạy, học bộ môn tiếng Anh trong trường trung học phổ thông nói chung vàđối với học sinh lớp tôi dạy nói riêng

6 Mô tả bản chất của sáng kiến:

- Về nội dung của sáng kiến:

Sáng kiến này được thực hiện ở một số tiết dạy trong bài 3 - sách tiếng Anh 10chương trình thí điểm với các bước như sau:

Bước 1: Nghiên cứu bài học, đánh giá tài liệu theo các lĩnh vực sau:

- Chủ đề: xem có liên quan đến kinh nghiệm của học sinh không; có thật sự hứng thúvới học sinh không; có phù hợp với văn hóa không

- Lời đẫn cho các bài tập, nhiệm vụ: kiểm tra lời đẫn, chỉ dẫn cho các bài tập có đủ rõràng, hữu ích cho học sinh hay không.

- Mục đích: có liên quan đến nhu cầu của học sinh hay không; có quá nhiều mục tiêuphải đạt được trong một bài học hay không; mục tiêu có đủ thách thức với học sinh haykhông

- Hoạt động: có đủ số lượng các hoạt động không; các hoạt động có giúp để đạt đượcmục tiêu bài học không; lời chỉ dẫn có đủ rõ ràng cho các bài tập không

- Nội dung của bài học, tiết học: có liên quan đến mục đích của bài học hay không;

độ khó có phù hợp với học sinh không; có nhiều ngôn ngữ thực tế không; có phù hợp độ dàicủa bài học hay không; có hứng thú cho học sinh không

- Phương pháp: bài học được thiết kế cho việc dạy hay kiểm tra; bài học được thiết

kế cho người dạy làm trung tâm hay người học làm trung tâm; bài học trú trọng đến độchính xác hay độ trôi chảy

- Nội dung và sự cân bằng: phần ngữ pháp, từ vựng và ngữ âm có cân bằng về lời chỉdẫn và luyện tập hay không; có cân bằng với bốn kỹ năng hay không; nội dung ngôn ngữ vàcác kỹ năng có được tích hợp với nhau không

Bước 2: Thiết kế bài học, chỉnh sửa tài liệu cho phù hợp với đối tượng học sinh

Giáo viên có thể áp dụng các phương pháp chỉnh sửa tài liệu như sau:

- Rút gọn tài liệu (Shorten the material)

- Sắp xếp lại tài liệu (Reorder the material)

- Bổ xung tài liệu (Add a text)

- Đơn giản hóa tài liệu (Simplify the material)

- Thay đổi dạng, kiểu bài tập (Change the form of the task)

- Thay bài tập bằng các dạng bài tập khó hơn.(Replace them with more difficulttasks)

- Kết hợp với tài liệu (Combine the material)

Bước 3: Thực hiện dự án.

+ Giáo viên nghiên cứu bài học và lên kế hoạch cụ thể cho từng dạng bài để phù hợpvới đối tượng học sinh

+ Giáo viên chia học sinh thành các cặp/ nhóm thảo luận và thực hiện theo các hoạtđộng được xây dựng trong bài học.

- For vocabulary, that is words and phrases related to music

- For pronunciation, that is how to pronounce /est, ənt, eit/

- For grammar, that is compound sentences and infinitives with to.
