A Goal: Help the Ss: “Happy birthday”, ask and answer about the age

is for you

2 Skills: The Ss can listen, speak, read, write, ask and answer about age prociently

3 Attitudes: active, glad, merry

C Ways of working: Individual, in pairs, in groups, TWC

D Materials:

1 Teacher: real objects (paper hat), puppets, stereo, cassette

2 Ss: appliences, picture (draw a cake and a gift)

a Class organization: Ask the Ss some

II- New lesson

1 Present the commands:

a Present the first part of the dialogue:

- Draw a cake and raise a gift, say: “Happy

birthday” (twice- three times)

- Ask the Ss to repeat

- Write: Happy birthday on the board

- Read again: Happy birthday

- Sing: “The happy birthday song”

 Ask- answer about the age

- Write number from 1- 10 on the board

- Read aloud from 1- 10

- Ask the Ss to read again

- Make model sentences: introduce the age

T:( Point to number 7, say) seven

Eg: Nam is seven years old

T: ( Point to number 9, say) nine

Eg: Hoa is nine years old

- Use puppets with 2 Ss to make model

sentences ask- answer about the age

P1: How old are you?

P2: I m seven years old’S TALK (I)

- We can answer: I’S TALK (I)m seven

Divide the class into 3 groups and role

- Listen and play the game

- Listen carefully
