Lesson 1: Getting started + Listen and Read (PAGE 81, 82)

A/ Objectives: After the lesson, students can:

- how to do in the situations which require first-aid

- get how to require and reply the requests

- Get Ss to practice the dialogue with a partner

- Correct mistake(s) in their pronunciation

2 Read and choose (page 81)

- Ask Ss to read the dialogue again and select the topic covered in the

dialogue

- Have Ss work in groups to write their answers on a sheet of paper and

hand in after finishing

- Collect Ss’ papers and give feedback : a- b- c- e- f

- Look at the book and listen

- Practice the dialogue in pairs

- Practice the dialogue before the class (3 pairs)

- Read the dialogue and dicide the right topic in groups

Fainting - Leave the patient lying flat

- Elevate the patients, feet or lower

Burns

- Cool the burn immediately to
