- Practice saying greeting in formal way

- Listen short dialogues for details and tick the correct pictures

- Greeting + ask some daily questions

about the weather and class situation

- Revision: Do the Matching.

+ Stick the four pictures of the different

moments of the day (in part 2) on one

side of the board

+ Write the greetings on the other side

- Have students match the piuctures with

the corrcet words on the board

- Remark

* Pre talking / Set the scene:

- Introduce the pictures

- Introduce the people by using the

puppets/ or pictures: Mrs Brown, Mrs

Green, Mr Green, Mr Loc, Mr Brown,

and Miss Hien

- Ask students to look at the four pictures

and say when it is in each picture

* While talking: + Role play:

- Ask students to work in pairs and play

role to say greeting correctly in each

situation

* Post talking: Free talk:

- Use the pictures in part 2, ask students

to look at the pictures and say greeting to

their friends

* Pre listening:

- Greeting + answer

- One student does the matching, others look and give remarks

- Read aloud the words

- Work in groups of four
