I/ OBJECTIVES:

1 Educational aim: To help Students will be able to

- Ask and answer questions about the plot of a film based on prompts

- Express their opinions about a film, using attitudinal adjectives

2 Knowledge: answer questions about the plot of a film

3 Skills: Tell what kinds of film they like and dislike

II/ METHOD: Mainly communication.

III/ TEACHING AIDS: Textbook, handouts, some film posters

IV/ PROCEDURES

WARM UP (5’) Cartoon

Detective

T: Asks Sts to name as many kinds of film as they can

T: Writes them on the board.

T: Helps Sts with new words if necessary.

PRESENTATION (5’)

“What kind of the film in the picture?”

* Suggested Answers:

- It is cartoon film

- It is horror film

- It is detective film

T: Shows the pictures of various kinds of film and asks Sts

PRACTICE TASK 1: (5’)

“How much do you like ?”

TASK 2: (10’) Find out what your friends feel about

each kind of film Use the words in the table.
