Lesson 2 Infinitive and gerund

* Aims and Requirement

- Sts know how to use and practise the infinitive and gerund in the context

* Language focus

- Form and use of the infinitive and gerund

- Sts can know some uses of the two tenses in some way.

* Anticipated problem

- Some ss have voacb problem and have difficulty in recognize V+ to V and V+ Ving

* Materials

- Book, ruler, chalk, bb, reference book, hand outs.

I Warm up

- Sts look at the hand out and find out V+to V and V+ Ving:

Want, neet, like, enjoy, be interested in, can't stand, avoid,

remember, forget, regret, agree.

- T goes around the class to check and help some sts.

- Some sts present and give examples

- Other comment.

- T comments and corrects:

1 V+to V : want, neet, agree

2 V+ Ving: the rest

III Practice:

Ss do the handouts:

I Put the verbs in brackets into infinitive with or without "To"
