Lesson 1: Reading

* Aims and Requirement

- Sts understand the passage and can do all the tasks well: Guess meaning in context,

passage comprehension

I Warm up

- Ss discuss some problems in developing countries: big

population, pollution, limited energy

* Warm up:

- Ss work in group and are given a set of cards, each of which

carries a letter Ss work together to put them in right order to

make a meaningful word The first group to finish the word wins

the game

problems of overpopulation Then report the results to the
