Procedure

5 mins A Check-up:

Listen and answer the questions:

- Which source of energy has the most

potential? Why so?

- Why do we have to protect these sources of

energy?

-Teacher-Students interaction -Teacher asks and calls 1 student

to answer the questions

- Teacher marks

8 mins B Warm-up: Whisper line

-Teacher divides class into 2

groups and gives instruction:

“Each group will have 5 students

joining this game You have to stand into 2 lines The first student of each line will look at the board, there are some words and you have to remember them

in order to whisper them to the next student, the line will be continued until the last student run to the board and write down all these words Group having more correct words in the shortest time will be the winner”

-Teacher checks students’

understanding of the instruction -Teacher sticks the poster with

words on the board and lets them begin

-Teacher checks students’

answers and gives positive

feedback

-Teacher asks: “ What do these words remind you of” to lead to the new lesson
