* OBJECTIVES

- Aims: Develop such listening micro-skills as listening for specific

information and choose true or false Then answer the questions in while listening

- Lexical items: Words and phrase to related to listening.

* Method: Integrated, mainly communication.

- Teaching aids: Textbook, cassette, tape, Sub-board.

* Procedure

1.Orgnization: total class 11B8

Warm-up

- Asks Ss to answer some questions

What celebrations are in the pictures?

- Introduce the new lesson:

- Listen and answer

A birthday party; a valentine party

- Listen

Before you listen

- Asks Ss to look at the book and answer the

questions

- Suggested answers

- Walks around the class to help when necessary

- Asks Ss to compare their answer with a partner

- Calls some Ss practice their answers in front of

the class

- Corrected answer:

* Listen and repeat

gather restaurant prizes

- Guide Ss to read the new words and meaning

- Calls some Ss to practice the words in front of

the class

- Work individual or in group

Instruction: You are going to listen to a girl
