I Objectives:

Educational aim: Educate Ss to know about the competitions in Viet Nam and on the world.

- At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know about a school’s competition in Viet Nam

- Develop such reading micro-skill as scanning for special ideas

and skimming for general information

- Use the information they have read to discuss and do the tasks

Lexical items: Words or phrases to related reading

Skills: Reading for gist and for specific information.
