The jumbled letter

- Give Ss a handout of a jumbled letter in

advance

- Divide the class into 4 groups and ask

them to re – order the letter

1 Pre-writing:

Task 1:

- Set the scene: You are going to write a

friendly letter to invite your classmates to

a party that you hold

- Get Ss to work out the content of their

letters by answering the questions in Task

and elicit more ideas from the class by

writing them in the handouts with the

chart

- Put Ss to go on in groups to find out the

ideas to fill the chart in the handouts

comments when Ss need help
