Games: Kim’s game
- divide the class into two groups, Sun and Moon
- Hang a poster containing these pictures up on
the board
- get SS to look at the pictures for a few seconds
and try to remember as many of them as possible
- remove the poster and ask SS to name the places
corresponding to the pictures that they can
remember
- within groups, SS write down the places on a
given poster
- the first group to finish within with more correct

-Put the SS into pairs
-within pairs ,SS practice the dialogue
-Assign some pairs to role-play the dialogue in front of the whole class
-Make corrections in terms of intonation, pronunciation and grammar
Activity 2: telling your last visit to a sightseeing spot (task c, textbook, p.206)
- put SS into groups of four
- Ask SS to take turn telling their last visit to a sightseeing spot
- give each student a copy of the table below
- get SS to complete the table about their group members’ visits
- monitor the class unobtrusively and give help if necessary
- call on some group representatives to report
what they have noted down about one of their friends’ visits
