Period: 48 Unit 8 : Celebrations

I- objectives:

1 Aim:By the end of the lesson sts will be able totalk about the celebrations of Tet

and other festivals' activities

2 Lexical items: Words/ phrases related to the celebrations of Tet and other

festivals' activities: people express their love to each other, thanksgiving Valentine's Day, Mid-Autumn,…

3 Structures: Did you know…, It's the time when……., it's on…, what do you usually

do at… ?

II Teaching aids : pictures ,

III Anticipated problems : Sts may have limited linguistic resources for discussion.

IV- Procedures:

1- Organization:

- Greeting and checking the sts’ attendance

2- Checking the old lesson

* Do exercise 1 in the part 1 of reading (1.E 2 B 3.A, 4.D 5 C )

* Do exercise 2 in the part 1 of reading ( B)
