1 Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to:

- Distinguish the clusters /pl /, / bl /, / pr / and / br /

- Pronounce the words and sentences containing these sounds correctly

- Understand reported speech with infinitives and use these structures to solve communivative tasks

2 Teaching aids:

- blackboard, chalk, handouts

- textbook, lesson plan

and guess the name of the songs.)

- T models the clusters /pl /, /bl/, /pr /

and / br/ for a few times and explains the

differences in producing them

- T plays the tape once for sts to hear the

words containing these clusters

- T plays the tape again and asks sts to

a Presentation

- T reviews reported speech with

infinitives

+ Form: Verb + Object + (not)

infinitive.

+ Meaning and Use: We usually use an

infinitive structure to report orders,

requests, advice, suggestions, threats,

warning, promises, agreements or

disagreements We don’t use “say”

in this structure.

- T reminds sts that time and place

references often have to change in

reported speech
