Warm Up ( 5’)ives the picture and asks them two questions
What can you see in the picture ? in the picture 1,the earth looks like an old ,tired man with too many people on his head ,shoulders and arms
What does the picture tell you ? The picture tells us that the earth may not properly
accommodate too many people we are facing overpopulation
Today we ‘ll study how to talk about the causes of population explosion ,problems of population booms and solutions to these problems

Before letting sts do the task, asks
them to read through the causes
provided on page 83
