I/ Aims:
This lesson aims to help Ss to:
Understand and use new vocabulary items related to the topic
Improve reading skills as scanning for specific information and guessing
meaning in context
II/ Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:
Develop such reading skills as scanning for specific information, and guessing meaning in context
Use the information they have read to discuss about their hobbies
IV/ Approach & teaching aids:
Communicative approach
Powerpoint presentation, BB, textbook, eraser, chalk, handout, worksheet, wall-charts, computer, projector, pens
V/ Anticipated problems:
Ss may not have sufficient vocabulary to read and talk about the topic so teacher should be ready to help them
