UNIT 7: MY NEIGHBORHOOD LESSON 5: LANGUAGE FOCUS

I OBJECTIVES:

1 Aims: - At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to revise and

further practice in the Present perfect with “for/since”, use Comparison

with “like, (not) as as, (not) the same as, different from, not similar to”

2 Knowlege:

* Grammar: Present perfect tense, Comparison with “like, (not)

as as, (not) the same as, different from, not similar to”

3 Skills: Speaking, Writing and Reading.

II PREPARATION:

1 Teacher: Lesson plan, poster, cards.

2 Students:

+ Present perfect with for and since

+ Comparison with like, (not) as…as, (not) the same as, different from.

III PROCEDURES:

1 Revision: (5’) Matching

Exercise 1-P.69:

T: hangs on the verbs and asks Ss to work in groups to match V-inf with

Vp.p

Ss: work in groups, then go to the board and give their answers

T: checks the answers with the whole class and tell Ss more about Vp.p

(Regular and irregular verbs)

2 New lesson:
