I OBJECTIVES

Aims: Develop such listening micro-skills as listening for specific information

and taking notes while listening

Lexical items: Words and phrase to related to listening.

Method:

Teaching aids: Textbook, cassette, tape.

II Procedure

1.Orgnization: total class 11B1

2 Check the old lesson

3 New lesson

1 Warm-up

- Asks to answer some questions

1 Have you ever seen a fire?

2 How do you feel when you see a fire?

3 What would you do if you saw a fire?

- Calls on some Ss to answer

- Feedbacks and give correct answer

2 Before you listen

- Asks Ss to look at the picture and say what is

happening

- Give situation and suggested questions

1 What do you see in the picture?

2 Who are they?

3.Where are they?

4 What are you doing?

* Listen and repeat

memorable, terrified, scream, replaced, gas stove,

embraced, escape, protected

- Guide Ss to read the new words and meaning

- Asks Ss to underline the words related to picture

and ask Ss to explain them

- Suggested answer

“Scream’’: Maybe the girl screamed when seeing

the fire
