Hình thức:
1.động từ “Tobe”
a.Câu khẳng định: Trong câu khẳng định thì động từ tobe đứng sau chủ ngữ.
-I am
-She/he/it/ N(ngôi thứ 3 số ít)+ is gạch “/” có nghĩa là hoặc
- you/we/they/ N(số nhiều) +are
Ex: I am a student.
She is a doctor.
We are farmers.

b.Câu nghi vấn: có hai loại:
* Câu hói yes/no Trong câu hỏi yes/no thì động từ tobe đứng trước chủ ngữ
- Am I ?
- Is + she/he/it/ N(ngôi thứ 3 số ít)?
- Are you/we/they/ N(số nhiều) ?
Chú ý : Đại từ nhân xưng “I” và “you” Trong câu hỏi dùng you thì dùng I để trả lời và ngược lại.
Ex:Are you a student?
