Game: Cut – up Pictures

-Divide the class into three groups ,A,B , C -Give each group the pieces of 3 pictures cut

up and shuffled (Yuri Gagarin, Neil

Armstrong, and an astronaut) (appendix)

-tell the groups to put the pieces together to have complete pictures and then write the names in the space provided

-When they have finished, stick their pictures

on the board

-The first group to finish and get all correct scores 5 points With a correct name, the group wins another 5 points

-the group with more points wins the game

-Check SS’ understanding of instructions and have them start the game

-Declare the winner

-From the pictures, elicit from SS the topic of the next unit: ‘These pictures represent the topic of the next unit What is it?’

Transition: - Yes, and that’s the topic of Unit
