Games: Jigsaw Reading.
- Arrange the class in four or five groups
- Give each group a handout with phrases of explanation on
- Tell Sts to read the phrases and find out the words, then combine the first letters of all these words to form the key word
- The first group to find it will win the game
- Sts start the game
- Declare the winner
- Ask Sts : - What is Experience?
- Have you ever been in embarrassing situations?
- What was it? What did you do then?
Transition: Unit 2 focuses on personal experience The reading today is about a man’s unpleasant experience at a party
