Games: “Join the dots”
- Give SS handout each with the pictures of a cat and a mouse and some words on
( Appendix 1a)
- Tell Sts are you going to read 11 explanations for some of the words on the handout one by one ; some of the words may
be repeated As they listen ,find the word and join the dot for that word with that of the next word, and so on
- Check Sts’ understanding of instructions and have them start the game
- When you have finished reading and SS finished joining, ask SS what the cat is doing
-If SS get all correct with the joining, a complete picture is revealed and they can find
answer ( Appendix 1b)
