ADVERBS OF MANNER Trạng từ chỉ thể cách

* Adverbs of manner: Diễn tả một hành động diễn ra như thế nào Nó thường đứng sau động từ.

* Cách tạo thành:

adjective + ly = adverb of manner

Ex.

- bad - badly : xấu, dở, tồi tệ

- slow - slowly : chậm

* Ngoại lệ:

 Tính từ tận cùng bằng "y" : đổi "y" thành "i" rồi thêm đuôi "ly"

Happy -> happily : một cách vui vẻ

Noisy -> noisily : một cách ầm ĩ

 Good -> well

Fast -> fast

Hard -> hard

* Câu hỏi với chữ "How ?" được dùng để hỏi về động tác diễn ra như thế nào.

Examples:

How are they playing today?

Hôm nay họ chơi thế nào?

They're playing badly

Họ chơi tệ

How does she sing?

Cô ấy hát thế nào?

She sings well

* Lưu ý cách dùng: Adjective - Noun

và: Verb - Adverb

 Adjective đổi thành adverb, hoặc ngược lại

 Noun đổi thành verb, hoặc ngược lại
