Unit 1: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF………

Lesson 1 – Reading

I Objectives:

1 Educational aim: Help Ss know more about the different kinds of competitions and the enjoyment they have from them

2 Knowledge: Help Ss know the purpose of an English competition and how to join it

3 Skills: - Guessing the meaning of words and phrases in the contest

- Reading for passage comprehension

- Scanning for specific information

- Using the information they have learnt to discuss the related topic

- 10.30: goes home

- 11.30: has lunch with family + In the afternoon:

- 2.30: Mr Vy & Mrs Tuyet go to the field again,repair the banks of the plot of land
