Yes, definitely Farms are obviously important to agriculture Without farms, you wouldlack basic things like grain, dairy, and meat products Those are the backbone of the foodindustry It’s hard to imagine what life would be like without those things Our food would bereally limited
4 Would you like move to a farm? Do you want to live in the countryside?
No, I don’t want to move to a faun Living in the countryside could be nice, but Iwouldn’t want to live on a farm I think that living on a faun is just too taxing There are toomany things to get done.
5 What kinds of farms do you like?
I really like farms that have common animals like sheep and cows I think cows are myfavourite farm animals They’re big and they don’t smell that great, but they’re so cute! Ifyou’ve ever seen a cow, you’ll know how big and sweet their eyes are
6 Did you do farm work when you were young?
Trang 5No, I grew up in a city so I never had to do any farm work But a couple of years ago, Ivisited a friend who lived on a farm When I stayed over at her house, we did some farmchores in the morning It was fill! getting a taste of fann life.

Well, I’ve never planted a tree before But I imagine it would be fun The hard partwould be waiting for it to grow Trees don’t exactly spring out of the ground fully formed.But I think the process of planting it would be rewarding It’d feel good to help out theenvironment in that way
2 What kind of trees do people usually plant in your country? How about yourhometown?
Well, there are many species of trees that are common in Vietnam I think the type oftree that Vietnamese people plant the most often is pine But fanners in Vietnam normallylove planting fruit trees In my hometown, there are also a ton of willows lining the streets
3 Have you planted trees? / Did you plant trees when you were a child?
No, I didn’t have the chance to plant trees as a kid I grew up in an apartment, so wedefinitely didn’t have a backyard to put a tree in But I think it would’ve been a coolexperience Planting trees is really good for the environment The more trees yoii have, themore oxygen goes into the atmosphere
5 Are there any special lands of trees in your country?
I don’t really know much about botany But I think the gingko tree is a type of nativetree in Vietnam I’ve never seen TV programs or artworks from other countries describingthe gingko tree But gingko is really widely planted in Vietnam Many cities in Vietnam evenhave streets famous for being lined with grngko trees
6 Do people in your country plant trees?
No, I don’t thrnk people in nry country plant trees so often It’s not a very commonpractice But March 12th is an exception because it’s National Tree Planting Day Manypeople get to plant trees on that day, usually organized by schools and companies Other thanthat I don’t usually see people around nre plant trees

My house is decorated in a minimalist style That means everything is pretty plain anduncluttered My parents don’t like anything that’s too messy They prefer the house to lookclean and sophisticated The walls are all neutral tones and everything matches There are nobright colours or clunky objects anywhere
2 What kind of decorations do you want to have? / What kind of decorations do youprefer?
Well, I hope to have a more classic-looking home I want an old classic interior designwith old wooden furniture, with things that look classy but not old and outdated, likecalligraphy and classic paintings I would also love to have an antique shelf with all kinds ofantiques, which would look really nice
3 Do Vietnamese people like redecorating their home?
Not really People like making small changes to their home though When it comes to alarge- scale redecoration to then home, I don’t think most families would do it It’s not justmoney, it’s also about the workload behind it Moving out and back in can be reallytroublesome.

There aren’t too many decorations in my home, but we do have a few paintings Mymom’s friend is an artist She’s given our family some of her originals My favourite painting
of hers is of a cherry blossom tree It’s so pretty and makes our house look sosophisticated.

I’m used to watching TV shows on my cellphone rather than on the TV I love watchingall kinds of programs, but honestly, I never have time to sit down and relax on the couch infront of the TV So watching shows on my cellphone is a good alternative and it’s reallyconvenient

Yes, I’ve thought about that when I was daydreaming I’m a huge fan of variety shows
So I’ve come up with a few different ideas for variety shows that I would absolutely love tomake I even designed games that the celebrities in the show could play It was silly

Yes, I actually like to rewatch the shows that I’m veiy fascinated by over and overagain I could finish watching an entire series and then restart it that same night, no problemwhatsoever For example, I can’t even remember how many times I’ve binge-watchedBreaking Bad I just find it very soothing to watch it again

1 Do you like singing?
Yes! I absolutely love to sing My favourite songs to sing are old jazz songs I am theonly one in my family that actually has a nice singing voice Everyone else in my family alsoloves to sing but they aren’t as good as I am!
2 When do you sing? / Did you enjoy singing when you were younger?
I will sing any place, any time I love to sing in the car when I’m driving, when I’m in theshower, or even while I’m at work and listening to music I used to sing in mv school’s vocalgroup and we would go perform at retirement centres The elderly people loved hearing ussing!
3 Have you taken any singing lessons? / Will you take singing lessons in the future?
Trang 9I actually took singing lessons from ages 10-15.I loved singing so much that my parentsallowed me to take piivate lessons with a vocal coach I learned so much in my vocal lessons,including music theory and how to read music off the page I love singing and I always will!

In my experience, people usually meet up with their friends and family to celebrate theNew Year Personally, I love hanging out with my fiiends and staying up until midnight It’sextra fun when we order a ton of food and just shoot the breeze together It’s the best way toring in the New Year
2 Do you still remember a new year that you celebrated?
The first one that comes to mind is New Year’s a few years back If memory servescorrectly , I was hanging out with a couple of my best fi iends We went to a big partytogether and had an amazing time together Then we went downtown and watched fireworks
go off over the city It was breathtaking
3 Why do people often think New Year is a new start?
I think it’s because it feels like a new beginning Even though technically it’s just anotherday, the New Year marks a big change in the calendar That can be an opportunity to changethings up in your life or make some new resolutions I think that’s why people like celebrating theNew Year
4 Do you have any ceremonies to celebrate the New Year in your country?
Yes! Here in Vietnam almost everyone celebrates the Vietnamese New Year It’scelebrated vibrantly here But the most important tradition is still the family reunion

Yes, actually, I forgot my neighbour’s name after I met her for the first time We wereboth out for a walk and she introduced herself to me But a week later, I saw her again andcompletely blanked on her name Luckily, she graciously reminded me

Honestly, it’s just repetition I repeat their names a few times in my head when I fustleam it It also helps to have a face to match with the name If you remember what a personlooks like, it’s easier to remember what then name is
4 What do you feel when people can’t remember your name?
Most of the time, it doesn’t bug me at all I know that some people aren’t good withnames I try not to take it personally But if they don’t remember my name after meeting memultiple times, I take a bit of offence It just rubs me the wrong way
5 What names are you good at remembering?
I’m good at remembering unique names It’s hard to remember common names Butwhen I meet people with names that have rarely-used Vietnamese characters, their namesoften stick in my mind for a long time after I learn how to say them I think the effort helps

1 Do you often get up early in the morning?
No, I’m definitely not a morning person I don’t like getting up at the crack of dawn Iwould much rather sleep ill I know that’s lazy, but I do a lot of work late at night so I’m stillproductive I just prefer nighttime I don’t like being awake too early in the day

I had to get up early this morning for the EELTS test This is so important for me and Icouldn’t risk being late for it My place is pretty far from the examination place So I got up

Well, I’m not a rooming person When I get up early, it’s usually for school So whenI’m ready to start the day, I make a list of all my tasks and get to work on completing them
4 Which morning of the week do you like the most?
I think I like Friday mornings the most I have to get up early for school, but at least Iknow that I’ll have the weekend off So when I’m tired and not looking forward to class, itfeels good to know that I get to sleep in the next day
5 What do you do on weekend mornings?/ Do you get up early on weekends?
I usually sleep in if I have the chance Sometimes I get up early to do housework orcatch up on schoolwork But most of the tune, I just lie in bed and watch videos on myphone I think it’s good to give yourself a break, and weekends are perfect for that

1 Do you like reading?
Yes, I love reading! It can always set my mind at ease If I’m feeling stressed out, I justpick up a good book and get lost in the story I think that more people should read; it canreally help you blow off steam There’s nothing more calming to me
2 Do you like to read at home or in other places?
I personally prefer to read at home I love being snuggled up in my bed, in my pyjamas,with a cup of tea, and a good book It is one of my favourite self-care activities to just relaxand read a book Plus, I’m often distracted when I read a book outside
3 In what place do you think it is difficult to read?
I think the most difficult place for me to read is on public transit If I’m on a subway or
a bus, I can’t seem to focus on what I’m trying to read at all! There are too many distractions
on a bus or a train which stresses me out too much to read
4 Do you like reading alone or with others?

Well, I love working out outside to stay positive and happy It’s a habit I’ve beenkeeping for years I usually do it at a park near my home every weekend It works like acharm for me when I want to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and work And mymind feels happier after exercising every time
2 Do you think people should be happy all the time?/Can you stay happy all the time?
No, I don’t think so It’s not healthy to make yourself be happy all the time Sometimeslife isn’t easy and things make you upset If you try to fight off bad feelings, you won’tprocess them in a healthy way That can make things even worse It’s better to have a balance

Yeah, I prefer texting most of the time It’s probably the most common way I talk to myfriends nowadays But I think that if the message is really serious or urgent, a phone call ismore appropriate That way, nothing gets lost in translation So when it comes to somethingreally important, I’ll usually make a phone call
2 Do you like having phone calls?
Yes, I really like having phone calls to catch up with family and friends near and far68!
I think you can have a much more interesting and in-depth conversation over the phonecompared to by text That being said, I always check to make sure that the person I amcalling is available to talk by texting them first
3 Do you prefer to receive a text message or to send one?
I prefer to receive a text message, especially from someone I haven’t talked to in awhile, because it means that person is thinking of me and wants to catch up It always shows
me that we have a strong friendship I also send messages to friends to see how they’re doingand if they want to meet up
4 What time is good for sending text messages to others?
The good thing about texts is the person receiving the text does not need to respondright away like they would for a phone call - so really, you can send a text anytime, day ornight, and the person you are texting can just respond when it is convenient for them.
5 Have you ever received a confusing text message?
Yes, I have One time, I opened my phone to find a text full of gibberish It was from
my mom, and it made absolutely no sense She didn’t even type real words! I texted her backwith three question marks, and she finally responded that she’d pocket-texted me That madewav more sense
6 In what circumstances is making a phone call better than sending a text message?
I think it’s better to call when something important has happened It could be somethingcool, like a piece of good news Or it could be something more serious, like if a familymember has had an accident Either way, calling is better than texting in times like those.That way, nothing gets lost in translation

No, I don’t think so I mean, typing is definitely more common than handwriting It’s alot faster and sometimes it’s more convenient But I think handwriting gives something anice personal touch It shows that the writer put extra effort into their message I think it’sreally nice to get a handwritten letter
4 What’s the difference of writing with a pen and typing on a computer?
Typing on a computer is usually faster And you don’t have to use any physicaltoolslike pens or paper When you write with a pen, it’s a slower process But there’s a littlemore personality to it You know, everyone has a unique style of handwriting that adds apersonal touch to their writing.
5 Can you tell someone’s personality from his or her handwriting?
Yes, I think you can tell a little bit about someone’s personality from their handwriting.For instance, you could guess that people with messy handwriting are kind of unorganized,but people with neat handwriting care about appearances and take their time Of course, youcan’t judge a book by its cover
6 Is your handwriting easy to read for other people?
Yeah, I guess my handwriting is pretty easy for other people to read, hi school, I had topractice writing very neatly , and that’s a skill that I’ve taken with me all the way until now.Actually it’s important to take your time and be careful when you write, or else no one willunderstand you.
