Unit 13: ACTIVITIES AND THE SEASONS Lesson 1 A1-2: The weather and seasons (p.p 134-135)

I OBJECTIVES:

1 Knowledge:

a General knowledge:

By the end of the lesson, Sts will know how to talk about the seasons and the weather.

b Language contents:

- Vocabulary: Some words relating to seasons and weather.

- Structure: + What’s the weather like (in the summer)?

+ It’s hot (in the summer)

2 Skills: Reading – Listening – Writing – Speaking

3 Attitude: Sts will try to avoid being sick because of the weather.

II PREPARATION:

1 Teacher:

- Prepare the lesson carefully: (teaching aids, make lesson plan by power point, book, laptop,

sound).

2 Students:

- Prepare the new lesson at home: (write new words; read text; answer questions).

- Pay attention to the lesson seriously, listen to the teachers.

III STEP FOR TEACHING:

- Structure: Reviewing adverbs of frequency, simple present of ordinary verbs, seasons.

3 Attitude: Sts should do morning exercise every day.

II PREPARATION:
