A Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students can:

I Warm up (8m)
- Write down vocabulary about school things and school subjects as quick as possible
(groupwork)
1 Vocabulary (15m)
* Exercise 1
- Play the recording and let Ss listen
- Play it again and pause for them to repeat each word
- Call some ss to read the words individually
- Correct their pronunciation
* Exercise 2
- Let Ss work in pairs, putting the words in 1 into groups Then check their answers
=> Explain to them which words go with each verb
- play: football / music (the guitar, volleyball, )
- do: homework / judo / exercises
- have: school lunch / lessons
- study: physics / English / history / vocabulary / science
* Exercise 3
- Tell Ss to do the task individually
- Call some Ss to write on the board, then check their answers

* Exercise 4 Writing sentences
- Ask Ss to write sentences about themselves in their notebooks, using the combinations above they can write as many sentences as possible
Ex: I / We have English lessons on Tuesday and Thursday

* Exercise 5 Listen and repeat the sounds / әu / and / ә /
- Let Ss practise the sounds / әu / and / Λ / together Ask Ss to observe the T’s lip positions for these two sounds
- Play the recording and ask Ss to listen and repeat Play the tape as many times as necessary
* Exercise 6 Listen to the words and put them into two groups / әu / and / Λ /
- Play the recording twice and ask ss to work individually Then let them check their answers in groups
- Call some Ss to write their answers on the board => Correct their mistakes
