1 Revision of the conditional sentence:

- Ask Students to repeat the form and use of it:

Form:

If +S + V (Present simple tense), S + modal verbs + V

Example:

If you want to get good grades, you must study hard

- Call on some Students to give examples

- Ask them to do the exercise 1:

- Call on some pairs to demonstrate in the front

Correct mistakes and give the answers:

+ Reported verbs are: asked, wondered, inquired, wanted to know … If the reported verbs are Said, Said to or told, they should be changed into asked

- Guide Students to do the exercise 4:

- Ask Ss to read the examples aloud:

“Do you like pop music?” => She asked me if / whether I liked pop music

“Where do you live” => She asked me where I lived

- Ask them to compare their results with a friend
