Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

I Aims.

1 Knowledge.

- By the end of this lesson, students will be to asking and answering question

about prevening accidents at home

New words: stove, matches, stair, down, climb, burn, touch, fall off, break, cut,

knife, arm, leg, may…

Structure: Don’t touch the stove.You may get a burn.

Ok, I won’t.

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading.

3 Attitude.

- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends

Ss look after, Students do not play dangerous objects prevening at home

II Teaching aids:

1 Teacher’s: Lesson plan, books, computer, speakers, softbook, Zoom software.

2 Students’: Books, notebooks, workbooks, Zoom software.

III Teaching method: MAT, TPA.

1 Organization(1’)

2 Warm up ( 3 ’)

- T call some Ss read aloud Let’s chant page 11

- Comment

- Lead in the new lesson: Unit 12 - Lesson1

3 New lesson

Activity 1 Look, listen and repeat (5’)

-T: Ask Ss to open their book on page 12 and

describe 2 pictures

Who are they? – They are Tony and Mary

? What are they talking about?

- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to

listen and follow in their books./on the

screen

- Play the recording again for Ss repeat the

dialogue ( line by line in the bubbles by

themselves)

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the dialogue

again.(T- Ss then swap)

- T call some Ss read aloud dialogue.

- Have Ss to find out the new structure

Activity 2 Point and say (8’)

-T: Ask Sts to look at the pictures on page 64 and

identify the characters

- T:set the scene and model new words

- Ss: listen and repeat

-Ss: work individually

check vocabulary: Matching

- Ss: work in groups

-T: Use the picture to introduce the characters

-T: Explain the requirement of this part as well as

the sentence patterns

-T: Model: T-S, S-S

- T:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to

listen while they are reading the dialogue

-T: Play the recording again for Ss to repeat each

line of the dialogue individaully

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the dialogue

again.(T- Ss then swap)
