I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge: By the end of this lesson,Ss will be able to use the words and

phrases related to the topic Common health problems.

Ask and answer questions about common health problems, using What's the matter with you?/ I have

2 Warm up: (5’)

- Check pupils: Check Ss’ notebook, textbook,…

- Play Passing the ball game.( Qs & A)

- Ss play into 3 groups T & Ss praise the winners

3 New lesson:

Act 1: Look, listen and repeat

* Set the scene:

- T uses the picture of the dialogue on page

6 (Student book 2) to lead Ss in the

conversation

Ask Ss to guess the meaning of these words from context

the book and elicit

- Play the recording all the way through for

text several times.( line by line in the

bubbles)

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the

Ps in each group takes turns to mime the illness

while the other guess Th quickest Ps to guess the

illness correctly gets one point

- Set a time limit for them to play the game The

team with the most points at the end of the game

is the winner
