I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, Pupils can read and write information

about favourite book and what the character in a story is like

2 Skills: - Develope Ss Reading, writing and listening skills.

3 Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English.

1 Teacher’s: Lesson plan, books, computer, softbook, speakers and projector

2 Students’: Books, notebooks, workbooks.

IV PROCEDURE

1.Organization:(1’)

- Greetings: T – Ss greet each other

- Checking attendance: Who’s absent today? Ss: Answer

2 Warm up: (5’)

Sing the song: Snow While and Aladdin

3 New lesson:

Act 1: Read and tick Yes (Y) or No (N):(8’)

a Pre-reading:

- Ask Ps to look at each picture and answer

questions: Who, what, when , where

Who is he? What is he doing? Where

is he?

- Tell Ps that they are going to read Tom’s

favourite book and tick Yes or No Explain

a Pre- writing

- Ask Ps to answer T’s questions

- Tell the class that they are going to write

about their favourite books

- Have them read the gapped sentences and

think about the words to write

b While-writing

- Give enough tine for ps to do the task

- Get them to swap read their writing in pairs

before inviting two or three Ps to read their

answers aloud

Act 3 Project: (7’)

- Tell the class that they are going to

interview three of their classmate about their

favourite books and character Ask them to

copy the table below and take notes

- Get them time to do the interiews in class

and complete the table

- Invite some pupils to report their results to

the class

Act 4 Colour the stars: (5’)

- Have the class read the statements and

check their comprehension

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite

a few Ps to read the statements aloud

I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, Ps will be able to use the words and

phrases related to the topic Animals at the zoo, ask and answer questions

about animals in a zoo, using What did you see at the zoo? I saw

* Language focus:

- Sentence Pattern: “What did you see at the zoo? I saw

- Vocabulary: pythons, crocodiles, peacocks and gorillas.

2 Skills: - Develope Ss speaking and listening skills

3 Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English with

others, tobe studious and obedient

- Ask students to look at the 4 pictures in

the book and elicit

- Play the recording all the way through

for Ss to listen and follow in their

book

- Play the recording again for Ss repeat the

text several times.( line by line in the

bubbles)

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the

dialogue again

- Have Ss to find out the new structure

- Point to the pictures and elicit the

teach them any unfamiliar words Check
