I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge: After the lesson, students are able to: - Say questions and

answers with the correct sentence stress

2 Skills: - Develope Ss Reading, writing and listening skills.

3 Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English.

1 Teacher’s: Lesson plan, books, softbook, computer, projector (5A, 5B)

2 Students’: Books, notebooks, workbooks.

IV PROCEDURE

1.Organization:(1’)

- Greetings: T – Ss greet each other

- Checking attendance: Who’s absent today? Ss: Answer

2 Warm up: (5’)

- Pass the ball “How many lessons/ How often do you have…/ I have….”

- Read the chant: How often do you have.?

- Ss play into 2 groups and do actions and then individually( 2-3 Ss)

- T & Ss praise the good Ss

- Tell the class that they are going to read the

passage and complete the sentences

- Get thern to read the sentences and guess

the answers before looking for the relevant

information in the reading passage

- Have pupils compare their answers before

checking as a class

- Get some Ps to say the words and sentences

Correct the pronunciation, if necessary

Act 2 Write about your school and lessons:

- Ask Ps to answer T’s questions

- Tell the class that they are going to write

about their school and lessons

- Have Ps works in pairs or in groups to

discuss and guess what they will fill in the

gaps

b While-writing

- Give them time to read the gapped text and

write the first draft

- Set a time limit for them to do the writing

independently Monitor the activity and offer

help, if necessary

- Remind them about punctuation and when

to use capital letters

- Have the class read the statements and

check their comprehension

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite

a few Ps to read the statements aloud

- Give further support to Ps who find it

difficult to achieve certain objectives

- Vocabulary: speak, listen, write, read,vocabulary, notebook, cartoon, email, short story, also.

3 Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English with

others, tobe studious and obedient
