CAT AND MOUSE 1 ( Part 2,3,4)

I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, Pupils will be able to understand the story Cat and Mouse 1

- Sentence Pattern: Revision

- Vocabulary: Revision

2 Skills: - Develop Ss reading, writing and speaking skill

3 Attitude: - Help Ss to be more confident to communicate in English

II TEACHING AIDS

1 Teacher’s: Lesson plan, books, softbook, projector (4A, 4C), speaker.

2 Students’: Books, notebooks, workbooks.

III METHOD

+ Work individually, in pairs/ groups

IV PROCEDURE

1 Organization:(1’) - Greetings: T – Ss greet each other

- Checking attendance: Who’s absent today? Ss: Answer

2 Warm up: (5’)

- Ask ss to role play the story Cat and Mouse 1

3 New lesson:

Act 1 Complete the conversation(10)

- Tell the class that they are going to read

and complete a conversation

- Give them a few second to read it and

check their comprehension

- Give them a time limit to do the task

- Ask them to compare their answers

before checking as a class

disscuss the task in three minutes

- Play game: Call the groups to go to the

board and write the task on the board one

by one The group who finish finish first

is the winner

- Correc and congretulate the winner

book and check comprehension by eliciting the

answers for these questions

- Play the recording all the way through for Ss to

listen and follow in their books

- Play the recording again for Ss repeat the

dialogue several times.( line by line in the

bubbles)

- Point to the picture for Ss to read the dialogue

again

- Have Ss to find out the new structure
