Activity: Letter Writing Race Game
- T ask Ss to open their notebooks
- T gives Ss 2 minutes to write as many Qq’s as they can
- Ss write as many Qq’s as they can
- The winner is the student who has written the most
- T monitors and corect their mistake
3 New lesson (30’)
*Activitiy 1: Listen, point, repeat Colour (8’)
- T introduction of letter r, Its sound and how to
pronounce the words beginning with Rr

Activity: Which One Is Missing?
- T puts the phonics cards face up on the table/stick them on the board
- T gives the students a minute to look at the cards
- T asks Ss close their eyes and then you take away one cards
- Ss close their eyes and then you take away one cards
- Then T tells the students to open their eyes and name the missing cards
- Ss open their eyes and name the missing cards
- T monitors and correct their mistakes

Activity 4 Listen Read along (10’)
- T encourage the students to point to the picture

- T play the CD and ask Ss to listen to the story

- The first student to step on it is the winner
and name the card missing
